Scamp trailers began in 1972 in an old Ford garage by brothers Duane & Gerald Eveland, and sister Gladys Coffland.  During the first years only the Scamp 13' trailer was produced with about 130 built the first year.  The following year was much the same, but by 1975, five hundred were built, six hundred in 1976, and seven hundred in 1977.  All the trailers were basically the same until 1978 when the 16 foot trailer was developed.  Three years later a 19 foot model was added with more floorplans and options becoming the focus of change.  Currently the 13, 16 and 19 foot trailers are all being manufactured with a variety of floorplans and options available.

The Scamp trailers are built to order, lightweight and aerodynamic in design.  With today's world of small vehicles and high fuel costs all three sizes of Scamp trailers can easily be towed by small cars, suvs, mini vans, and trucks.

Built with strength to last almost forever these hard shell fiberglass trailers can be used where tents or tent trailers should not go.  They are some of the most dependable trailers on the market today with some of the originals built in the early 1970's still being used today.  Our parts department can supply what you need to maintain your Scamp and keep it in perfect condition.

Scamp quality stands out, and for good reason.  The result brings a strong demand for even the used Scamp trailers which retain their resale value, especially because they don't wear out.  So, for a quality trailer that will last for years check out the Scamp 13, 16 or 19 foot models and see what we are all about!
